Indian Army deployed Advanced Assault Boats on Pangong Tso Lake to keep an eye on China

Recently, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has handed over the made in India advanced equipment to the Indian Army, which includes Landing craft assault. Landing craft are replacing patrol boats on the assault 'Pangong Tso lake'. LCA has been developed by Aquarius ShipYard Limited, Goa. It is planned to be used in Eastern Ladakh, it has better speed and capacity which will help the army in easing the obstacles in the water.

Rajnath Singh briefed about the new weapon system

Rajnath Singh was briefed and acquainted with the new weapon systems of the Indian Army's 'Futuristic Infantry Soldier in a System' (F-INSAS) and the AK-203 Assault Rifle. During this Indian soldiersLadakhSpecial boats made for patrolling were also demonstrated in Pangong Lake located in The soldiers demonstrated the capability of Landing Craft Assault in front of the Defense Minister. 

Made with special technology, these boats can carry 35 combat soldiers at a time and can reach any area of the lake in a very short time. Joining the army of these boats will increase the strength of the Indian security forces.

What weapons were handed over

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh handed over many indigenous weapons and equipment to the Indian Army in the direction of self-reliant India. These include Anti-Personnel Land Mine Nipun, Landing Craft Attack for operations in Pangong Lake, Infantry Combat Vehicle and many other systems. On this occasion, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was briefed about the new weapon systems of the Indian Army's 'Futuristic Infantry Soldier in a System' (F-INSAS) and AK-203 assault rifles and weapons.
