The IndiGo Sharjah-Hyderabad flight was diverted to Karachi in Pakistan after the pilot reported a technical snag in the aircraft, which is being investigated at the airport. The airline is planning to send one more plane to Karachi. This is the second Indian airline to land in Karachi in two weeks. Earlier, on July 5, a SpiceJet flight from New Delhi to Dubai had made a precautionary landing at Pakistan's Karachi airport due to a technical snag.
In a statement, IndiGo Airlines said, "As a precautionary measure, the aircraft was diverted to Karachi, Pakistan after the pilot of the Sharjah-Hyderabad flight noticed a technical snag in the aircraft." An additional flight is being sent to Karachi to take the passengers to Hyderabad.

An airline spokesperson said, “On July 5, 2022, SpiceJet B737 aircraft operating flight SG-11 (Delhi-Dubai) was diverted to Karachi due to a malfunction of an indicator light. The plane landed safely in Karachi.
On Wednesday this week, an Indigo Airlines plane going from Delhi to Imphal also made an emergency landing in Kolkata. IndiGo aircraft number 6E2615 was to land at Imphal, but due to bad weather there, landing could not take place, due to which it had to land at Kolkata airport. The fuel of the plane was also about to run out. A total of 141 passengers were on board the plane.
