International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression 2022: The day is observed on 4 June annually to highlight the pain and trauma suffered by children across the world. Many children are victims of physical, mental, and emotional abuse. The day affirms the commitment of the UN to protect the rights of children.

The painful reality of our world is that innocent children face violence in many forms like killing, sexual violence, abduction, attacks on schools etc.
This day wants to make people aware in the whole world about the impact of cruelty or abuse done to children and how to prevent it. Also, to protect children's rights this day make organisations and individuals learn and take part in the campaign.
The International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression: History
A large number of innocent Lebanese and Palestinian children being the victims of the aggression acts by the Israelis. So, at its special emergency session on 19 August, 1982 the members of the General Assembly of Palestine were shocked to see the condition of children. Therefore, the assembly decided to observe 4th June as the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression under the resolution ES-7/8.
