Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren's brother, Basant Soren has made a bizarre claim about his recent visit to New Delhi amid the political instability in the state, saying that he had gone to the national capital to buy undergarments. While talking to the media, Basant Soren said, 'There was a little stir in the middle, now everything is fine. Yes, we went to Delhi, my undergarments were short, so I went to Delhi to buy them. BJP attacks Hemant Sorean

The state's main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party has attacked the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand on the answer of Basant Soren. BJP MLA Bhanu Pratap Singh tweeted, "When the tribal daughter and sister of Dumka were murdered, the MLA there, Basant Soren, dear brother of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, was busy buying undergarments in Delhi instead of meeting those families."

Basant is the MLA of Dumka assembly constituency. In Dumka itself, two girls were murdered in two separate incidents in the last 3 days. This murder has created a political ruckus in the entire state. In such a situation, this statement of Basant is giving an opportunity to the opposition parties to attack.
