Therefore, it cannot be said that he made her do it. The prosecution was not able to provide enough evidence to prove that the accused had abetted Jiah's suicide under Section 306 of the IPC.

After Sooraj Pancholi's acquittal, Jiah Khan's mother expressed her determination to continue her fight for justice. Rabia Khan stated that she has been claiming from the beginning that the case is not solely of abetment to suicide but of murder. She respects the court's decision, but her fight will continue, and she will challenge the decision in the High Court.
