The Indian Army foiled a major infiltration plot of Pakistan along the Line of Control (LOC) in the Poonch sector. During the operation on 3 November, the army killed three infiltrators in the Poonch sector. The body of one of the slain infiltrators was recovered by the Indian Army.
However, the remaining two bodies were taken back to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) by the terrorists involved in the infiltration. Here with the help of local people, these bodies were taken to the residential areas, the evidence of which has been found by the Indian Army for the first time.
According to Army Spokesperson (Jammu), around 10 am on Thursday, Indian Army personnel noticed suspicious movement of some infiltrators along the Line of Control in Poonch sector. On seeing the suspicious movement, the soldiers challenged the infiltrators, after which the terrorists opened fire on the Indian Army. One terrorist was killed in the army's retaliation while the rest fled back to the Pakistani border. The army has seized the body of the terrorist. Along with his body, the army has recovered two AK-47 rifles, a pistol and munitions. He said that the search operation is going on in the area.
