Joshimath: The owner of Hotel Malari along with his family is on strike, Joshimath Sinking

Joshimath's hotels and homes are riddled with cracks, and the ground has sunk. Following which there have been chaos-like situations between the residents of Joshimath. Malari Inn and Mount View, the two hotels that were built here, are now a threat to the smaller population because of land subsidence. The hotels are soon going to get demolished by the municipal corporation on govt orders.

The Hotel Malari Inn and Mount View are going to be destroyed following the government orders. Locals and hotel owners are protesting and seeking compensation in this location. Joshimath's Hotel Malari has been deemed dangerous, but local opposition has delayed its demolition. As per the reports the hotels have developed multiple cracks and demolishing it right now can save the people from any future danger.  Thakur Singh Rana, the owner of the hotel, claims that I don't oppose the property's demolition. All I'm saying is that I ought to receive fair compensation.

According to the hotel owner, no one has informed him or her that this site is in a disaster area between 2011 and 2022. The hotel was allegedly constructed with the Joshimath Municipality's approval, claimed the owner. But now, the hotel is being dismantled secretly.Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister, has chosen to donate one month's pay to the relief fund in response to the ongoing tragedy in Joshimath.
