The pilgrimage site, Joshimath's condition is worsening. Now the government have become active after the crisis is looming large in the Chamoli's district of Uttarakhand. The entire team including Garhwal Commissioner, Secretary of Disaster Management visited the affected wards of Joshimath on Friday.

Ancient Temple Collapsed 

Meanwhile, in view of the increasing problem of landslides in Joshimath, Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar has given instructions to deploy the NDRF team in Joshimath. On the other hand, information has come to the fore that a temple collapsed due to a landslide in Joshimath's Singhdhar ward. Due to land subsidence, an ancient temple of Maa Bhagwati fell on top of a house, causing cracks on the roof of the house. However, there is no information about any loss of life or property.

Why Joshimath is sinking?

In Joshimath, the affected people, who are suffering from the disaster of land erosion, accused the Bharat Construction Company, which is working on the Helang Marwari bypass, and said that the bypass work is being done by the company in violation of the orders of the administration. On Thursday, orders have been given by the local administration to stop the work of Marwari Bypass.
