Desi K-drama fans here is yet another good news to wake up to, reportedly Ji Chang-wook & Nam Ji-hyun super hit K-drama ‘Suspicious Partner’ is all set to get an Indian remake. Yes, following the announcement of K-dramas such as Business Proposal and Something in the rain getting an Indian version to it, this is a fresh new edition to the list. And we quote ‘The most thrilling one’ as well. And if you are wondering who are the Indian actors roped in to recreate the iconic role of Ji Chang-wook & Nam Ji-hyun then here it is. Social media sensation Barkha Singh and Angad Bedi will be seen playing Noh Ji Wook and Eun Bong Hee.

Suspicious Partner Indian adaptation

Named as ‘The Legal Affair’ Suspicious Partner Indian version is being produced by Jio Studios. The filming location of the drama has reportedly been in Delhi and Parts of Mumbai. Going by the reports The Legal Affair will be released by the end of the year. 

Angad Bedi who will be seen playing the Key Role of a prosecutor in a statement said “A Legal Affair is a legal drama based on a lawyer and his associate and the affair they have. It’s an intense romantic drama, a genre I haven’t dabbled in before. Also, this show is an official adaptation of the K-drama, Suspicious Partner, which is already such a successful show. It’s kind of tricky since the Korean version was already a hit, so people have high expectations and it’s up to the actors and makers what more they can bring to the show.”

Suspicious Partner is a Legal K-drama which garnered a lot of attention because of its romantic as well as intriguing plotline. Being a Ji Chang-wook drama, it also enjoys a cult status. In this drama a trainee starts working under a veteran prosecutor for a murder case, however things turn upside down when the trainee herself becomes a suspect in her Ex boyfriend’s murder case. The series also follows a soft plotline between the lead roles. The Indian version of Suspicious Partner is being helmed by Karan Darra.
