The flame of this protest, which started against the hijab, has now reached the state of Kerala, India. Protests were held in Kozhikode, Kerala by lighting a hijab on Sunday, November 6. During this, people gave their message of solidarity with the anti-hijab movement in Iran. A large number of women participated in the demonstration.

One thousand protesters prosecuted in Tehran

The issue of hijab is hot in Iran. Many people have lost their lives in the protests. In fact, 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was killed in police custody in Iran, after which people across the country are protesting against the government. Mahsa was accused of violating the dress code. There is a tense situation in the country.

The government is frightened by the ongoing movement against the hijab in Iran. It is preparing to prosecute about a thousand protesters in the capital Tehran. Government protesters have been accused of vandalism, misbehaving with dead security guards and setting public property on fire.
