Khatu Shyam Mandir: The doors of Khatu Shyam temple closed indefinitely, this is the reason

The temple of Khatu Shyam ji located in Sikar, Rajasthan has been closed indefinitely from the night of 13 November. About five lakh people visited Khatushyam on Sunday before the information about the closure of the temple. Shree Shyam Mandir Committee Khatushyamji Sikar has issued a letter, in which it is written, 'All Shyam devotees are informed that in order to make accessible and easy darshan arrangements for the devotees, on 13.11.2022, from 10 pm onwards, Shyam Mandir Khatushyamji will be invited to come. Completely closed for general viewing till orders. Therefore, all Shyam devotees are requested to come for Shyam Baba's darshan only after further orders.

Four months before Baba Shyam's Lakkhi fair to be held next year, the district administration and temple committee have started preparing. District Collector Amit Yadav and Superintendent of Police Kunwar Rashtradeep held a meeting on Thursday. In the meeting, the collector had said that the arrangements would have to be rectified before the fair, so that the devotees should not face any problem when they come here. The collector has also given instructions to complete the temple expansion work by the end of December. The temple committee has said to start work from Friday on the initiative of the district administration.
