The constant rainfall in the state of Maharashtra is wreaking great havoc, as the constant monsoon rainfall in many areas of the state has caused flood-like situations, which has already caused great difficulty for the people to carry out their daily-life operations.
While many regions of Mumbai and Maharashtra are totally submerged under the water, and the situation doesn’t seem to be improving anytime soon. The transportation facilities are also not working in the region, and recently, the Konkan Railway route also stalled which got other 6,000 passengers struck at one place.
Many teams of NDRF along with other agencies are carrying out various search operations to save people stuck in different regions of the state. A recent landslide at Maharastra’s Kalai Village has reported a sum of people being stuck under the rubble, and to rescue them, even the help of the Army was sought.
