Exactly two years after the Hathras incident in UP, the bodies of two minor Dalit sisters were found hanging from a tree in Nighasan of Lakhimpur Kheri district on Wednesday. The family alleges that after the kidnapping, the girls were killed and the bodies were hanged from the tree. Seeing the dead bodies of both sisters hanging on the tree, the villagers got furious and started a ruckus. People sat on the road and blocked it.

During this, he also got into an argument with the police. Based on the complaint of the victim's mother, the police have arrested the remaining 6 accused including the main accused. A case has been registered against these accused under the Rape, Murder and POCSO Act. These accused have been identified as the main accused Chhotu, Junaid, Suhail, Hafizul, Arif, Karimuddin. The family members allege that the accused had come on a bike and kidnapped both the sisters from the house.

What do the police have to say?

In this case, the police claimed that the deceased girls already knew the accused. The accused seduced her, after which she went with him of her own free will. The girls had put pressure on them to marry, then the girls were strangled to death. The main accused Chhotu has been arrested. It was Chhotu who made the girls befriend the accused. Chotu was not present at the time of murder. The postmortem of both the girls has started, only after which the real reason behind the murder will be revealed.
