LPG cylinder Price Reduce: Commercial gas cylinder prices reduced, know latest rates in your cities- Watch Video

Oil marketing companies (OMCs) reduced the price of 19kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 182 to Rs 197 on Friday with immediate effect beginning July 1. In Delhi, costs were reduced by Rs 198, going from Rs 2,219 to Rs 2,021. The tariffs were decreased by Rs 182 in Kolkata, Rs 190.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 187 in Chennai, allowing the salaried class some breathing room.

The cost of a 19kg LPG cylinder had already increased by Rs 50 in the first week of May as a result of rising crude oil prices around the world. 14.2 kg of home cooking gas cost Rs 53.50 more a month ago. In the meantime, since Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a reduction in the Excise Duty on May 21, fuel prices in India have been constant for more than a month. Diesel prices were decreased by Rs 6 per litre, while gasoline prices were slashed by Rs 8 per litre.

At the same time, Sitharaman said that Ujjwala scheme participants would receive a subsidy of Rs 200 each cylinder for 12 bottles in a year, which would assist lessen some of the strain caused by the record-high price of cooking gas. On June 30, fuel in Delhi cost Rs 89.62 per litre and gasoline cost Rs 96.72. In the meantime, Mumbai is charging Rs 111.35 per litre for petrol and Rs 97.28 for diesel.

Meanwhile, Chennai sells petrol and diesel for Rs. 102.63 and Rs. 94.24 per litre, respectively, while Kolkatans are currently paying Rs. 106.03 per litre for petrol and Rs. 92.76 for diesel.
