The Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra is in trouble due to the fight for supremacy in Shiv Sena. The departure of Uddhav Thackeray's government in Maharashtra is believed to be certain. In such a situation, Uddhav Thackeray has played the same strategy which was run by his father Balasaheb Thackeray in 1992, almost 30 years ago. Then the crisis of the existence of Shiv Sena was averted. Now it remains to be seen whether Uddhav Thackeray can avert this crisis or not.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray left his official residence Varsha on Wednesday night and returned to Matoshree. Earlier, Uddhav Thackeray told all the rebel MLAs, including Shiv Sena ruckus and Eknath Shinde, that he is ready to leave the post of Chief Minister if any MLA comes before him and asks. Although Eknath Shinde has not yet expressed his desire to become the Chief Minister, but it is believed that he wants something big now.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra came in trouble about a week ago, when Eknath Shinde took some MLAs to a hotel in Surat, Gujarat. Since then, Uddhav Thackeray had not said anything, but on Wednesday, being infected with Corona, he connected with the general public through Facebook Live and showed the same attitude, which was shown by his father Balasaheb Thackeray in 1992. Uddhav clearly said that for him the party is first and he is not interested in the post of Chief Minister.
This is not the first time that rebellious voices have been heard in Shiv Sena. In 1992, Madhav Deshpande, a colleague of Balasaheb Thackeray, made many allegations in Shiv Sena. He made interference in the party of Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray a big issue. In such a situation, Balasaheb wrote an article in the mouthpiece of Shiv Sena, Saamana. In this article, Balasaheb had said that if any Shiv Sainik comes in front of him and says that he has left the party because of the Thackeray family, then he will leave the post of President at that time. With this, his entire family will leave Shiv Sena.
Lakhs of Shiv Sena workers came out on the streets after reading this article of Balasaheb Thackeray in Saamana. Some activists even started threatening to kill themselves. A crowd of thousands had gathered outside Matoshree. After this, all the officers of Shiv Sena got busy in persuading Balasaheb. All the allegations made by Madhav Deshpande were also sidelined. Soon this matter was settled and after that no one ever questioned Balasaheb Thackeray and his family. Now Uddhav Thackeray is also seen following the same footsteps. However, there is a huge difference between the time of Balasaheb Thackeray of 1992 and now. Therefore, it will be very difficult to say that what will be the effect of these attitudes of Uddhav Thackeray.
