Political turmoil continues in Maharashtra. While the Eknath Shinde faction is claiming to have a majority, Uddhav Thackeray is trying to save the Shiv Sena and the government. Meanwhile, now Raj Thackeray has also entered the political battle of Maharashtra. Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde has spoken to MNS chief Raj Thackeray twice over the phone. It is being told that there has been a conversation between the two regarding the political crisis in Maharashtra.
MNS also agreed to the action taken by Shinde. Although officially MNS is not talking much about this yet. It is worth noting that Aditya Thackeray recently made a statement regarding the merger of rebel MLAs, after which there is a stir in the political corridors due to the discussion of Raj Thackeray with Shinde.
Such discussions are gaining momentum in the political corridors that the rebel Shiv Sena MLA may also consider joining the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, the party of Raj Thackeray. Because if this happens, then the rebel MLAs will get the ideology of Hindutva along with Thackeray's name. Presently MNS has only one MLA in the Assembly. If these rebel MLAs go to him then MNS will become stronger in Maharashtra Assembly.
Shiv Sena's rebel MLA Deepak Kesarkar claims that we will reach a decision in three or four days and after that we will go straight back to Maharashtra. Kesarkar said that one to two more MLAs are coming in our support. After which the number of MLAs supporting our faction along with independent candidates will be beyond 50.
On the other hand, Shiv Sena has once again attacked BJP through its mouthpiece Saamana. It has been said in Saamana that BJP has written the political script in Maharashtra. In Maharashtra's Political Crisis Lokanta, the dancers of the state are dancing to their beats on the failure of the Center. Shiv Sena has also accused BJP of horse-trading ie horse trading of MLAs.
