Political crisis in Maharashtra

In Maharashtra, the clouds of political crisis are hovering over the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP. The Uddhav Thackeray government is in danger as Shiv Sena stalwart Eknath Shinde has turned rebel. In view of Shinde's rebellious attitude, Shiv Sena has removed him from the post of Legislature Party leader, but Eknath Shinde is not seen under any kind of pressure from these decisions.

Eknath Shinde on Wednesday claimed that he has the support of 40 MLAs. Apart from this, 10 more MLAs will come with me soon. But I don't want to criticize anyone. Let us tell you that Shinde made this statement during a conversation with journalists on arrival at Guwahati airport. At present there are 56 MLAs in the Shiv Sena assembly.

Eknath Shinde may join BJP

The rebellion in the Shiv Sena has given rise to speculations that Shinde along with other MLAs may join the BJP to topple the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government. The Shiv Sena MLAs are now staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the city. After reaching Guwahati, Shinde said, "A total of 40 MLAs are present here. We will take forward Balasaheb Thackeray's Hindutva."

Shiv Sena MLAs were received by BJP MLA Sushant Borgohain and BJP MP Pallab Lochan Das at the Guwahati airport.Borgohain said, "I had come to collect him (Shiv Sena MLA from Surat in Gujarat). I did not count how many MLAs have come. I have come here for personal relations. He has not disclosed any schedule."
