42 MLAs present in Guwahati hotel - Sources

Quoting sources, it is being said that 42 MLAs are staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati. All these MLAs are with Eknath Shinde. Sources said that among them 34 are from Shiv Sena and 8 are Independent MLAs.

Uddhav Thackeray's emotional appeal

Earlier on Wednesday, CM Uddhav Thackeray came forward and spoke on the political crisis. Uddhav made an emotional appeal to the Shiv Sainiks and said that he is ready to give up not only the post of Chief Minister, but also the post of Shiv Sena chief, but any of our Shiv Sainiks themselves should come before me and ask. Thackeray said that I will be happy if a Shiv Sainik becomes the Chief Minister after I step down from the post of Chief Minister.
