Manish Sisodia Arrested: Former deputy CM is being held in Tihar Prison and will be questioned by ED today after CBI

The investigation authorities are never done looking into the scandal in the new excise policy of the Delhi government. According to the most recent information, on Tuesday, following the CBI, a team from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned and recorded a statement from former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who was being held in Tihar Jail in connection with a money laundering investigation into alleged irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy.

In the afternoon, ED representatives would arrive at Tihar Prison to record Sisodia's statement in accordance with the Money Laundering Act. The CBI detained Sisodia in this case last month; she is now being held in judicial custody. After a protracted interrogation, Arun Pillai was taken into custody on Monday night under the criminal provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

The businessman is the eleventh individual the ED has detained in this case, and he allegedly represents the "South Group" of booze merchants. He will be presented to a local court by ED. where he will be taken into custody by the ED to be questioned.
