In Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, a battle between soldiers from Himachal Pradesh and terrorists resulted in the deaths of two of them. At the age of 32, Arvind Kumar, a Marunh native of Sulah, Palampur, Kangra district, offered the ultimate sacrifice for his country. In the assault, he was hurt, and he eventually passed away.
Since the event, sadness has become pervasive in Arvind's hometown of Marunh. A large number of village residents and relatives came to comfort Arvind's family. Martyr Arvind had only recently curtailed his leave and returned to service, according to Arvind's brother Bhupendra Kumar.
