Minority community youth stabbed to death in Karnataka, Section 144 implemented in many districts

After the murder of BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru in Karnataka, now a case of murder of a youth of a minority community has come to the fore. A youth has been murdered by an unknown group in Surathkal on the outskirts of Mangaluru. The young man was murdered with a knife. The matter is being told of Dakshina Kannada. Section 144 imposed

Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar told about the murder of Fazil that three to four people came and escaped after attacking Fazil with a sharp weapon. According to the Hindustan Times report, officials said that the motive behind Fazil's murder is not yet clear. "It is too early to say whether it has any connection with any other incident and if there is any connection, we will conduct a fair investigation," the police commissioner said. BJYM leader Praveen Nettaru (32) was murdered by three unidentified assailants on a motorcycle in front of his shop at Bellare in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday night.

ADG refrains youth from making social media comment

Youth state ADG Alok Kumar said that recently two-three such incidents have happened. We will check whether their links are connected. The accused in yesterday's murder and the motive behind the murder are being ascertained. He appealed to the youth to refrain from making such comments on social media.

Mangaluru Police also requested Muslim leaders to offer Namaz at their homes. All liquor shops under the commissioner's limits will remain closed on July 29.
