Umesh Pal Shot Dead: MLA Raju Pal murder witness killed; Doctors doing postmortem

Umesh Pal Shot Dead Update: Umesh Pal, the main witness of BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case, was shot dead in Prayagraj on Friday night. The miscreants attacked Umesh Pal and his gunner with bombs and bullets.

The postmortem of Umesh Pal’s body is being done at SRN Hospital in Prayagraj, in which there is a possibility of getting many bullets stuck in his body. Now doctors are doing X-ray of Umesh Pal’s dead body so that they can get correct information about how many and where bullets are stuck in the body.

There was rapid firing on Umesh Pal, as well as with crude bombs. Umesh Pal and two policemen deployed in his security were seriously injured in this attack, out of which two including Umesh have died. The injured gunner is being treated at SRN Hospital.

The incident took place in Dhumanganj area of Prayagraj. Police have confirmed the death of Umesh and the condition of the two soldiers injured in the shootout is said to be very serious. A soldier was put on ventilator. Confirming the death, Police Commissioner Ramit Sharma said that the attack took place just outside the house at around 4.30 pm. They were killed by bullets and bombs. Four to five attackers have carried out this incident. In the whole incident, the name of Mafia Atiq Ahmed is coming to the fore.

Further investigation

Police is trying to collect many other evidence including CCTV footage. According to sources, 7 people have been detained by the police for questioning in the murder of Umesh Pal. Police has detained 7 people including Atiq Ahmed’s two sons Ejam and Aaban. The police is interrogating all the people that have been taken into custody.
