The Bay of Bengal will have more rain from May 8 to May 12 than usual, according to the IMD, and a cyclonic storm could be formed in the next few days due to a cyclonic circulation over the southeast Bay. In addition, the Odisha government has urged the collectors of 18 coastal and neighboring districts to take caution in light of the cyclone warning.
