Morbi Bridge Collapse: A cable suspension bridge on the Machu river collapsed in Gujarat's Morbi city on Sunday, due to which 134 people have died so far. More than 100 injured are being treated. In view of this, today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Morbi. The Prime Minister was in Kevadiya on Monday, where he said rescue operations were underway and there would be no laxity in the rescue and relief efforts. PM Modi said, "Gujarat government is running relief and rescue operations. The Center is also providing all possible help to the state government."

PM Modi also got emotional during his address. He said, "I express my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident. The government is with the bereaved families in every way in this hour of grief. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel had reached Morbi and was commanding the rescue operation. The state government has constituted a committee to probe the incident. There will be no laxity in rescue and relief operations."

Opposition in Fury- Congress raises many questions

Just before the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , the opposition has raised many questions. In fact, even before PM Modi reached Morbi, the administration swung into action and started repairing the civil hospital. Painting was done in the hospital. With this, wherever the tiles were broken, it was repaired, some pictures of which also came. Congress made it an issue. Congress leader Supriya Shrinet also tweeted.
