India's famous milk brand Dairy has once again increased the prices of its milk from today (November 21). Mother Dairy has increased the prices of full-cream milk by Rs 1 per liter and token milk by Rs 2 per liter in the Delhi-NCR market. There has been no change in the rate of full cream milk sold in packs of 500 ml.
Significantly, Mother Dairy has increased the prices of milk for the fourth time in the year 2022. The company supplies about 30 lakh liters of milk every day in Delhi-NCR. Mother Dairy has increased the price of full cream milk by Re 1 to Rs 64 per litre. Token milk (milk sold in bulk) will be sold at the rate of Rs 50 per liter from tomorrow, earlier it was Rs 48 per litre.
Mother Dairy has 9 processing plants owned by the company for dairy. The total milk processing capacity of the company is more than 50 lakh liters per day. For fresh fruits and vegetables, the company has its own 4 plants, while for edible oils it manufactures through 16 affiliated plants. Let us tell you that the production of milk in India is about 210 million tonnes on an annual basis.
