MP installed mosquito net, appealed after being troubled by mosquitoes. Parliament Monsoon Session

Suspended opposition MPs continue to protest for 50 hours in Parliament House. This demonstration, which started on Wednesday morning, will go on till today i.e. 29th July afternoon. Mosquitoes did not allow suspended MPs to sleep on the first night of the protest. Therefore, to avoid mosquitoes on Thursday night, the MPs spent the night inside the mosquito net. In a picture, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh is seen sleeping in a mosquito net.

Apart from them, TeamAC MPs Derek O'Brien, Sushmita Dev and Mausam Benazir Noor were also seen sleeping in mosquito nets. Mosquito-stricken MPs spent the night burning Martin's Quail last night. A video of this was tweeted by Congress MP Manickam Tagore. In the video, a mosquito was seen sitting on his hands, with the Martin Quail burnt.

Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh also reached the place of protest by the MPs. He said that his party is also taking part in it. He tweeted, Congress, DMK, TMC, CPM and AAP MPs are giving 50-hour dharna. These MPs are staging a sit-in for their suspension on the demand of discussion on inflation, GST.

Suspension applicable till Friday 

Due to the ruckus in the Rajya Sabha today, this suspension of 19 MPs is for the Remaining Part of this week, that is, this suspension will remain in force till Friday. From Monday, all these 19 MPs will be able to take part in the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha. Apart from 7 MPs of TMC, these MPs also include Rajya Sabha MPs of DMK and Left parties.

The MPs have been suspended for raising slogans by entering the Well of the House. On the previous day, four Congress MPs were suspended from the rest of the session for raising slogans against inflation in the Lok Sabha. Congress MPs raised slogans in the house with placards in their hands.
