A severe fire broke out at the Mandala Scrap Market, in the Mankhurd area of Mumbai during the early hours of Friday. As many as 12 fire brigade vehicles were employed to put out the severe fire at the Kurla scrap.
The reports state that due to the severe fire, many houses have completely burned down, and there are many other reports of destruction. It is also being stated that 3 to 4 gas cylinders also exploded during Thursday midnight.

"We got info about the fire at around 3 am. 12 fire engines, 10 tankers along with 150 firefighters have been deployed for fire fighting operation. No casualty reported," said a fire officer pic.twitter.com/Zaf6KdkIcN
There are no reports of any casualties yet by the incident of fire, that took 10 water tankers to be put off. The fire came under control by 8:30 AM in the morning, while the reason behind the cause of the fire is under investigation.
It must be noted that before this, on Thursday, a severe fire broke out in Bandra West at the 16 floors tall Kanakia Paris building. While in recent days, there have been many cases of severe fire breaking out in Mumbai, and hence, people are being warned to remain cautious and safe.
