Navjot Singh Sidhu Resigns:
Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was appointed as Punjab Congress President in July, has resigned from the post today.
Merely after 10 days of Captain Amrinder Singh's stepping down from the post of Chief Minister of Punjab, today Navjot Singh Sidhu has also put down his papers as party's state president, a move that once again depicts the fierce tussle going on between the two major leaders of the state and party.This move can put the party in trouble as it prepares for contesting in Assembly Elections for 2022.
Navjot Singh Sidhu was appointed as the Congress Party's Punjab President on July 18,2021. And just after around 2 months, he has stepped down, arousing various speculations.
Capt. Amrinder Singh's resignation
Earlier former Chief Minister, Capt. Amrinder Singh has stepped down from the post of Chief Minister after which Charanjit Singh Channi was appointed the Chief Minister of the state.
It will be interesting to see what politics is going to follow this shaking move of Navjot Singh Sidhu
