Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the top actors in bollywood setting an example with his exemplary acting skills. The actor never fails to get the spotlight with his acting and impeccable style. Along with that Nawazuddin is also known for expressing his thoughts without any hesitation. Recently in an interview he openly commented on the shortcomings of Bollywood and stated that Bollywood is getting a major setback.
In an interview to ET Now, Nawazuddin Siddiqui talked about the mistakes which have been going on in Bollywood for years. He comments that he wants to change the name of Bollywood to Hindi film industry and wants makers to give scripts of films in Hindi instead of english. This will help him and other actors to memorize the script easily.
He further says that “when we are making a film in Hindi, then all the work should be done in Hindi, but in the film industry, the film is in Hindi. But the rest of the work is done in English.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui further says that ‘There is a strange atmosphere on the sets of the film. Where the director and producer of the film are talking in English and all this which is incomprehensible to the actors coming from the theaters, which affects its performance a lot. This happens when people do not understand things.
Talking about South Films he further quotes that in South industry, everyone talks in their mother tongue which helps them communicate better and this also affects the performance of the actor.
Nawazuddin started his career with Aamir Khan's film 'Sarfarosh' in the year 1999. However he got recognition from Anurag Kashyap's films 'Gangs of Wasseypur and Gangs of Wasseypur 2. Soon be seen as the main villain in Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2.
