NEET UG 2022: Application for NEET UG exam now till May 20
Application Process for NEET UG 2022 Entrance Test to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for selection of candidates for admission in the year 2022-23 to graduate level courses of Medical and Dental in medical education institutions across the country 6 April and the last date of registration was 6th May, which was extended to 15th May and now once again the last date of application has been extended.
Now candidates can apply till 20 May. The Undergraduate Medical Entrance Exam will be conducted on 17th July in 543 cities. This exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode. The examination will be conducted in 13 languages. So far more than 15 lakh students have applied for this examination.
Total MBBS seats
According to reports, this year NEET entrance exam will be held for 90,825 MBBS seats in India. Along with this, NEET will be conducted for 27,948 seats for BDS, 52,720 for AYUSH, 487 for BSc Nursing and 603 for BVSC.
General category candidates applying for NEET UG, 2022 will have to deposit Rs 1600 as application fee. At the same time, the candidates of EWS and OBC (NCL) category will have to deposit Rs 1500 and the candidates of SC, ST category will have to deposit Rs 800. At the same time, the application fee for NRI students has been fixed at Rs 8500.
Exam date still not changed
NTA has changed the last date to apply for NEET UG but no change has been made in the exam date. NEET UG, 2022 exam will be conducted on July 17, 2022 as per its schedule. According to the information, till now more than 11 lakh candidates have applied for NEET UG. This number is less than last year but after the extension of the last date many more candidates will apply.
To apply for NEET UG 2022 by NTA, candidates need to visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in and then click on the link 'Registration for NEET (UG) 2022' given on the home page itself. After this, on the new page, you have to click on the link of New Registration, then on the new page you will have to complete the registration by filling the details asked for. Thereafter, by logging in through NTA using application number and password, candidates will be able to submit the application and pay the fee.
