Netflix India has announced the arrival of Raveena Tandon and Ashutosh Rana starred crime-thriller ‘Aranyak’. The film will also mark the OTT debut of Raveena who will be seen in a fierce cop avatar for the first time ever. The film is slated to be released on Netflix on December 10, and the OTT giant gave fans a sneak peek into the movie on Monday by posting the trailer on Instagram.

Aranyak trailer out on Netflix

The Aranyak trailer features Raveena Tandon as a cop who is on the verge of leaving the department but stops when a big case drops by. Raveena plays the role of police officer Kasturi who is determined to get into the bottom of the case and ends up joining Parambrata Chatterjee's character who  was going to replace her in the department. However, the journey to solve the case was not easy as the film is surrounded by a series of murders and unsolved mysteries from the past. Kasturi’s character was also shown struggling with some family issues, which inducted an emotional track in the drama. ‘A town where everyone is suspect and everyone has a secret’ it would be interesting to watch how the mystery unfolds.

Raveena Tandon unveiled the trailer of Aranyak

Sharing the trailer on her Instagram, Raveena wrote “Ek gunaah, aur itne saare gunegaar.Kya SHO Kasturi pata laga paayegi kaun sach bol raha hai, aur kaun jhoot? Sironah ke sach ke liye taiyaar rahiye, watch Aranyak on 10th December. Only on Netflix. Watch the trailer here.

Netflix to introduce low price plans in India

On the completion of successful 5 years in India, Netflix announced that it will soon release a string of 40+ Netflix original films. As per the report of Mint, With low-cost options, the service is attempting to infiltrate the country. It had joined with Reliance Jio in September 2020 to offer a free mobile-only subscription to post-paid consumers for plans starting at $5.3 per month (399).
