In November 2021 also, the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Shantanu Tyagi had issued a warrant against Sapna Chaudhary in this case. After this, Sapna Chaudhary appeared in Lucknow court in May and sought interim bail which was granted. ACJM Shantanu Tyagi ordered the release of accused Sapna Choudhary on conditional interim bail till May 25. Accepting conditional interim bail till May 25, Sapna Chaudhary was released on two sureties of 20-20 thousand and on filing a personal bond.
Sapna Chaudhary was to do a dance program on 13 October 2018 in Smriti Upvan, Lucknow. A ticket of Rs 300 was kept for this program. Sapna was also paid for the program. When Sapna did not reach the venue till 10 pm, the crowd created a ruckus demanding refund of the ticket money. After the uproar, a case was registered on 14 October 2018 on behalf of Inspector Firoz Khan at Ashiana police station in Lucknow. Apart from Sapna Chaudhary, the organizers of the program Junaid Ahmed, Naveen Sharma, Iwad Ali, Amit Pandey and Ratnakar Upadhyay were made accused in this.
