Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal:
The co-founder of Ola, Bhavish Aggarwal has asked for the abolishment of all petrol 2 wheelers within the next 4 years i.e., until 2025, after the company’s typical taxi business came back to its track after the Covid19 pandemic.
The Ola company backed by Masayoshi Son of SoftBank has entered the market with its newest launch of a traditional 2-wheeler scooter at a competitive pricing of Rs. 99,999.
It must be noted that the Ola Electric Scooter was launched in India on 15th August 2021, and has been quite “a talked-about thing” since then. The Ola Electric Scooter Booking started at token money of just Rs. 499, and more than 1 lakh units of the scooter have been booked yet.
Consistent claims are being made about this scooter for some time now, according to which Ola's upcoming electric scooter can charge the battery up to 50% within just 18 minutes. Since the driving range of this scooter will be up to 150 km, so, it can be said that the scooter will give a range of up to 75 km on a charge of 18 minutes. When launched in India, this scooter will give a tough competition to the Ather 450X and TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak.
It is also being speculated that it will have features like full-LED lighting, fast charging capabilities, a front disc brake, etc.
