The arrest of Manish Sisodia, a former deputy chief minister of Delhi, in the Liquor Policy case has sparked a political firestorm. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister, is among the nine opposition leaders who have addressed a letter to PM Narendra Modi. The opposition leaders have repeatedly criticised the central investigating agencies' actions regarding political parties other than the BJP in this letter.

What did the letter say?

Opposition leaders have claimed that CBI and ED have being abused. The opposition claims that these tactics have damaged the investigating agency's reputation. According to his writing, it appears that "we have transitioned from a democracy to a tyranny" as a result of the action. In the letter, the Chief Minister of Assam Hemant Biswa Sarma has also been targeted. It has been written that the investigation against the leaders of the opposition who join the BJP is slow.
