Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, attacked the opposition during the Hindu Ekta Yatra in Karimnagar, Telangana. Sarma criticised the concept of "love jihad" before challenging Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of AIMIM. He declared he will close 300 additional madrassas this year alone. We are fighting against Love Jihad in Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma stated during the protest. After being elected Chief Minister, Assam closed 600 madrassas. I want to let Owaisi know that this year, I'll be closing 300 more madrassas.
