Imran Khan was evaded by the police on Sunday despite a warrant for his arrest being issued in the Toshakhana case (March 5). Hours of drama around the arrest were spent among ferocious fan protests. Imran Khan, the leader of PTI, has since addressed a letter to Pakistan's Chief Justice. He allegedly receives threats from government employees.

What was in the letter

Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), allegedly threatened the country's ruling elite in a letter to CJP Umar Ata Bandial, according to ARY News on Sunday, March 5. He has been threatened frequently since his administration was overthrown, and there has even been an attempt to kill him. He said that attempts were made to sway the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) findings and that the FIR had not yet been filed following the Wazirabad incident.

Imran Khan demands security

Imran Khan added that crowds of people follow him everywhere he goes and that the security measures in place for his court appearance in Lahore were insufficient. It is obvious, he continued, that the government cannot offer them impenetrable security. Khan claimed that he was receiving threats from the nation's elite. In this context, he urged action from the Chief Justice.
