The drama involving Hindu refugees from Pakistan in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer has officially ended. Pakistani Hindus who have been evicted will dwell on the land that has been chosen for them. This ground is now being levelled as of Monday night. Before beginning the work, worship was conducted; currently, 200 households will be able to live on this site. The oustees gave each other sweets to say "thank you" to District Collector Tina Dabi after choosing the land.
After the high-stakes drama in Jaisalmer following the removal of Hindu immigrant encroachments, now the levelling work has begun after marking the area for them. The Pakistani migrants experience a thrill of joy as the collector keeps his word and collects the money within a week. They are also expressing their gratitude to the District Collector by making each other's mouths a little sweeter.
