Pamela Chopra Biography: Pamela Chopra, the wife of Yash Chopra, died this morning, April 20. Aged 74, she was. Indian playback singer Pamela Chopra was well-known. She had her own career as a screenwriter and producer. She spent the previous 15 days hospitalised at Mumbai's Lilavati hospital, according to the reports.

Pamela Chopra Early Life and Background 

Chopra was born as Pamela Singh, the child of Indian Army commander Mohinder Singh. She has two younger brothers and is the oldest of three kids. She is the actor Simi Garewal's relative.

Chopra has experimented with a number of movie-related industries. She has performed in a number of cinema songs, all of which have been for the films of her spouse, ranging from Kabhie Kabhie (1976) to Mujhse Dosti Karoge! (2002). In addition, her name was listed as a "producer" on the credits of some of her husband's films. 

She did, however, independently produce the 1993 movie Aaina. Together with her husband Yash Chopra, her son Aditya Chopra, and seasoned screenwriter Tanuja Chandra, Pamela co-wrote the script for her husband's 1997 film Dil To Pagal Hai.

She has only ever made one appearance on screen, in the movie Dil To Pagal Hai's "Ek Duje Ke Vaaste" opening number, when she co-starred with her husband.
