Patna Bomb Blast: Bomb brought as evidence in Patna Civil Court explodes

A bomb blast took place in Patna Civil Court on Friday. This created an atmosphere of panic in the court premises. It is said that the sub-inspector from Kadamkuan police station had reached the court with explosives and was doing paperwork by keeping the explosives on a table in the court premises. Then suddenly there was an explosion. This created an atmosphere of chaos in the court premises. The sub-inspector also suffered minor injuries in this incident. At the same time, after the explosion, the police officers reached the civil court and started investigating the matter.

Police inspector seriously injured

According to the police, the seriously injured inspector has been sent to PMCH for treatment after the blast. The other two injured policemen are also being treated at PMCH. He said that it is not officially known how the explosives kept in a room of Patna Civil Court suddenly exploded. There was an uproar in the court premises due to the loud sound of the blast. For some time people started running here and there and the policemen expelled all the people from the court premises.

Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said that ASI Madan Singh of Kadamkuan police station has suffered an injury in his right hand. However, there is no report of any other person getting injured in this accident. There is information about a low intensity blast in the civil court of Patna. The Civil Court is situated a few steps away from Pirbahor station. Police reached the spot soon after the incident and started investigation.
