Who is Patralekha Paul?

Born on 20th February 1989, Patrlekha is an Indian actress hailing from Shillong, Meghalaya. She belongs to a Bengali family. Her father is a Chartered Accountant and mother Papri Paul a homemaker. Patrlekha also has two siblings Parnalekha Paul and Agnish Paul.

Patralekha Paul Education

Patralekha did her schooling from The Assam Valley School, a boarding school and Graduation from Bishop Cotton Girls' School, Bangalore. Initially her family wanted her to pursue commerce and become a Chartered Accountant. She even started her education for the same from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. But during those days she felt her desire and love for acting and did few commercials for big brands like Blackberry, and Tata Docomo. Later she got her big break in Bollywood with 2014 film City Lights opposite her boyfriend Rajkummar Rao.

Rajkummar and Patralekha have known each other for more than a decade. The two started dating in 2010 even before her debut in Bollywood. Patralekha Paul Films and Career

For the unversed, Patralekha made her debut in Bollywood while starring alongside her boyfriend Rajkummar Rao. She got her big breakthrough with 2014 Hansal Mehta directorial film City Life.

In the film Rajkummar and Patralekha played the role of a poor couple living in Rajasthan who shift to Mumbai for better living. The film was a low budget film but was a big commercial success. It even got positive reviews from critics.
