Pavitra Rishta 2: Ekta Kapoor’s one of the most awaited shows Pavitra Rishta season 2 is finally streaming on ZEE5. While the show was launched in 2009, the new season has a completely new storyline, fresh plot but the same iconic character names i.e Manav and Archana. In the first season, the character of Manav was played by late actor Sushant Sigh Rajput and Archana was played by Ankita Lokhande. The serial was also the debut serial for SSR and had a special place in every fan’s heart.

Now with the second season, Ekta Kapoor roped in Shaheer Sheikh as Manav while Ankita is back playing the iconic character of Archana. The second season is streaming exclusively on OTT and all the episodes of the season are released at once. With the tagline ‘love can overcome all challenges', season 2 is released with 8 episodes and is getting all the love from fans and critics. 


Netizens reaction to Pavitra Rishta 2

The season was released on ZEE5 on September 15. As soon as all the episodes got on the digital platform, fans wasted no time and tuned in to see the new love story of Manav and Archana and their sacred love. Netizens are loving Shaheer Sheikh as Manav and his performance. Ankita too is delivering a power-packed performance leaving everyone nostalgic. 

One of the user tweeted, “#PavitraRishta2 Manav Deshmukh a simple garage mechanic. His life’s goal is the happiness of his loved ones. A selfless man who goes out of his way to help others. A man of meagre means but so rich by heart that it’s wealth overflows.”

Shaheer Sheikh on playing the character of Manav

Earlier in an interview with SpotboyE Shaheer Sheikh opened up on playing the iconic character of Manav which is connected with Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. He shares that he himself was anxious as fans and the audience will have great expectations with him. “A lot of people told me that are you sure you want to do this character? Because he was a legendary character of such a hit show played by Sushant Singh Rajput. People will have very high expectations from you. I was anyway not very sure if I should take up the show and after hearing all such things, I started feeling even more nervous. In fact, the first thought I had was, 'Mujhe accept hi nahi karenge log, “ says Shaheer.
