Petrol-Diesel Hike: Fuel Prices rise again, Check the new rates here

There is once again surge in the prices of fuels, which are now hitting record time high. The surge is a result of increase in global crude oil prices. As per the Indian Oil Corporation, The petrol and Diesel prices in Delhi ascended by 35 paise to make them cost Rs. 106.54 and Rs. 95.27 per litre.

The prices of fuels have been increasing since the start of October. This is the second consecutive day when the prices of fuels have increased by 35 paise. Earlier the general public got relaxation when the prices weren't increased until Wednesday during this week. However, it was short lived as the prices experienced a surge once again on Wednesday, for the first time this week.

Fuel rates are highest in Mumbai when compared to other metropolitan cities. The difference in fuel rates is because of the Value added Tax imposed on them.

Petrol Prices have crossed Rs. 100 mark in most parts of the country. But now prices of Diesel have also reached that level in over dozen states and UTs including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Kerala, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Goa and Ladakh.
