Petrol Diesel Price: Crude oil prices fall, will petrol-diesel be cheaper in Navratri?

The decline in the price of crude oil continues. On Monday, Brent crude in the international market had reached the lowest level since January with $ 84.06 per barrel. Even after this, Indian oil companies have not made any change in the prices of vehicle fuel petrol and diesel. Experts say that petrol and diesel can be cheaper in India if the price of crude oil comes below $ 80 per barrel. In such a situation, it is expected that if the price of Brent crude continues to fall till next week, then petrol and diesel may become cheaper during Navratri.

Price of petrol and diesel stable

The prices of petrol and diesel have remained stable for the last several months. The prices of petrol and diesel at the national level are stable amidst the fluctuating crude oil prices in the international market. According to the latest update of the official website of Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL),, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel from the national capital Delhi to the country's financial capital Mumbai today.

Petrol price in Delhi

Today one litre of petrol in Delhi is getting Rs 96.72 per litre while diesel is getting Rs 89.62 per litre. The price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 106.31 and the price of diesel is Rs 94.27 per litre. Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 106.03 while diesel costs Rs 92.76 per litre. At the same time, in Chennai too, petrol is Rs 102.63 per litre and diesel is Rs 94.24 per litre.
