Petrol Diesel Prices:
The Petrol Diesel prices in India have been a hot topic of the town as the prices of petrol and diesel in many parts of the country have been constant since Diwali. The fuel prices in the country have remained stable since the last announcement made by the government. However, petrol-diesel in Sriganganagar, Rajasthan is being sold the most expensive in the country and the cheapest in Port Blair.
Considering the latest rates, the Petrol price in Delhi has reached Rs 103.97 per liter and the Petrol Price in Mumbai is at Rs 109.98 per liter. The Diesel price in Mumbai is now available at Rs 94.14 per liter, while the Diesel price in Delhi costs Rs 86.67.
The Petrol price in Kolkata has reached Rs. 104.67 and the Diesel price in Kolkata are at Rs. 89.79 per liter. The Petrol price in Chennai has reached Rs. 101.40 and the Diesel price in Kolkata are Rs. 91.43 per liter.
It must be noted that the central government on 3rd November as a relief in the constantly rising fuel rates, reduced Rs. 5 Excise Duty on Petrol and Rs. 10 Excise Duty on Diesel. Soon after this, the petrol-diesel prices in various states of the country saw a dip in the VAT imposed on fuel prices.
The 23 Indian states that decreased the Petrol-Diesel prices include Punjab, Karnataka, Puducherry, Manipur, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Dadar, and Nagar Haveli, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Haryana, Daman and Diu, Tripura, Sikkim, Bihar, Mizoram, Nagaland, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Orissa, Meghalaya, and Ladakh.
The states having petrol prices below Rs. 100 in India include Port Blair, Noida, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Shimla.
