Petrol Diesel Prices:
New prices of petrol and diesel have been released for today, 27th November. Even today, the major oil companies of the country have not fluctuated in any way in the prices of fuel. It must be noted that today is the 23rd consecutive day, when there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel.
While the price of crude oil remains sluggish in the international markets. The new variant of the Covid-19 virus in South Africa is creating a sense of restlessness among the investors out there, which has caused the crude oil prices to dip by over 4%. This market trend is likely to bring down the petrol-diesel prices in the country too.
The price of crude oil in the international markets is currently around $ 80 per barrel. Experts say that in the coming days, fuel prices may see a further fall. Not only this, experts also say that due to the fall in crude oil prices in the future, many countries including India may see a further fall in petrol-diesel prices.
While the dipping price of crude oil is likely to affect other goods in the share market too. Considering the current situation, the USA, China, Japan, and India are dispensing crude oil to the market from their strategic reserve. Recently, the Indian Government decided to dispense 5 million barrels of crude oil to the market from Ensurgency Strategic Reserve, which is likely to bring down the crude oil prices in the country.
In the capital Delhi, the price of petrol is Rs 103.97 per liter and the price of diesel is Rs 86.67. But in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, adjacent to Delhi, the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 95.29 and the price of diesel is Rs 86.80 per liter. Apart from Ghaziabad, the prices of petrol and diesel are also lower in Gurugram, which is in NCR, than in Delhi. Petrol in Gurugram is Rs 95.90 per liter and diesel Rs 87.11 per liter
In Mumbai today, the price of petrol is Rs 109.98 per liter and diesel is Rs 94.14 per liter. In Chennai, the price of one liter of petrol is Rs 101.40 and the price of one liter of diesel is Rs 91.43. In Kolkata today petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 104.67 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.79 per liter.
