These days, there are continuous reports of dog attacks in different areas of Uttar Pradesh. The latest case has come to light from Vaishali in Ghaziabad, where a dog of Pitbull breed attacked an 11-year-old girl and badly injured her.
The case is of Ramprastha Green Society of Ghaziabad. According to the girl's mother, Ruchi Agarwal, her eleven-year-old daughter had taken her small dog downstairs for a walk in the society. Meanwhile, a pitbull dog roaming in the society attacked her and bit her leg, injuring her. The dog bite marks can be clearly seen on the girl's leg. After the attack of the pitbull, the girl was immediately taken to a private hospital, where the girl was discharged after first aid. At the same time, the girl and her family have been shocked after this incident. Police has registered an FIR in this matter.
The Principal Private Secretary of the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Dharmendra Bhandari wrote a letter on 26 September. In this, he had asked the District Magistrate, SSP and Municipal Commissioner to take effective steps to check such incidents. Along with this, a detailed report of action was also sought on this in 20 days.
It is worth noting that in Ghaziabad, many cases of pitbull dog bites have come to the fore in the last few days. One such case is of the Civitech Society of Indirapuram where a pitbull dog attacked and bled an 11-year-old girl. The girl had to be admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. In another recent case, a pitbull dog had killed an elderly woman in Lucknow.
