PM-KISAN e-KYC: Prime Minister Modi will release the 11th instalment of financial benefits worth Rs 21,000 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to more than 10 crore farmers on May 31 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Under ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’, PM will also interact with beneficiaries of 16 schemes and programmes implemented by nine central ministries through video conferencing, the agriculture ministry said.

The national event is being organised under the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ year-long celebrations. “PM will release the 11th instalment of Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme worth Rs 21,000 crores," the statement said.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will join the programme from Delhi. 

The fund is transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. On January 1, the PM released the 10th instalment of more than Rs 20,000 crore to over 10 crore beneficiary farmer families.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is financial assistance of Rs 6000 which is sent annually to farmers' bank accounts. At the same time, this money is sent in 3 instalments of Rs 2000 each. The Scheme is effective from 1.12.2018. The family for this Scheme includes husband, wife and minor children.

Currently, farmers are waiting for the 11th instalment, but if you have not got e-KYC done then you may face trouble getting the 11th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. 

PM-KISAN: When is the last date for e-KYC?

If you have not done e-KYC yet, then you will have to do this work before 31 March 2022. Actually, the last date for conducting e-KYC by the government has been kept 31 March. So get it done before that.

PM-KISAN: Why is e-KYC necessary?

Why it is necessary for farmers to do e-KYC? If you are taking advantage of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then it becomes necessary for you to get e-KYC done because if not done the money of the 11th instalment can get stuck. 

PM-KISAN: How to Register for e-KYC

Step 1

• To get e-KYC done, you have to first go to the official PM Kisan portal https://pmkisan.gov.in. Here you have to go to the 'Farmer Corner' and click on the link 'e-KYC'.

Step 2

• Now you have to enter your Aadhar number. After that enter the image code and also enter your mobile number (linked to aadhaar number). Then enter the OTP received on the mobile and click SUBMIT. Your e-KYC will be completed.

How To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN)

For enrolment in this scheme, the farmer is required to approach the local Agriculture Assistant/ revenue officer / Nodal Officer (PM-Kisan) nominated by the State Government.
