PM Modi again became the world's most popular leader, leaving behind world leaders including Biden

PM Narendra Modi has once again become the most favorite leader of the world. He has achieved this feat, beating leaders such as US President Joe Biden and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanes. According to the Global Leader Approval Rating released by Morning Consult Political Intelligence, PM Modi is liked by 75% of the people.

Other leaders position

According to the Morning Consult survey, PM Modi was followed by Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador with 63% rating and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi with 54% rating. Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is ranked 9th with a rating of 38%. So right there, in 20th place is British Prime Minister Boris Johnson with 25% rating. South Korea's President Eun Suk Yol secured 21% rating at the last position i.e. 22nd.

On top since three years

This is not the first time that PM Modi has been chosen as the most popular leader. Earlier PM Modi had topped the list in May 2020 with 84% popularity. In September 2021, PM Modi again got the status of the most talked and popular leader and in the week of January 13 to 19 this year, PM Modi became the most popular leader in the world with the choice of 71% of the people.

The report 'Latest Approval Ratings' released by Morning Consult Political Intelligence is based on data gathered from August 17 to 23, 2022. Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador was at number two in this report. 63% of people voted. In third place was the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanes, who was liked by 58% of the people.
