An exhibition will be held at the National Gallery of Modern Art in Delhi to auction the gifts received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country and the world. More than 1200 items with base prices ranging from Rs 100 to 10 lakh has been shown. This will be the fourth time in a row that PM Modi is going to auction his gifts. It is being told that they can be bought through e-auction. The auction will start on September 17 i.e. the birthday of PM Modi and will run till October 2 i.e. Gandhi Jayanti. The proceeds from this auction will be used in the Namami Gange program. It is estimated that an amount of more than 20 crores will be collected from this.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had decided to auction the gifts received during his tenure so that some money could be collected and the amount could be used for social work. Earlier three times the gifts received by the PM have been auctioned. In the same sequence, this year also this exhibition has been set up in the National Gallery of Modern Art of the Ministry of Culture.
In the gallery, gifts from the corporate world to the political platform and sportspersons have been specially installed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi . The lowest price in the gallery is a small picture of Ganesh ji with a base price of Rs 100. Whereas the most expensive T-shirt, whose base price has been kept at Rs 10 lakh.
