Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the 'Entrepreneur India' program at Vigyan Bhawan in the capital Delhi. PM Modi launched new features of 'Rising and accelerating MSME performance' scheme, 'Capacity building of MSME exporters for the first time' scheme and 'Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme'.
Addressing the public in this program, the PM said that India's exports should increase continuously, for India's products to reach new markets, it is very important for the country's MSME sector to be strong. Our government is taking decisions, making new policies keeping in mind this ability of yours, the limitless possibilities of this sector.
He said that we have resolved to make local products global. The effort is to create a local supply chain for Make in India, which can reduce India's dependence on foreign countries. Therefore, unprecedented emphasis is being given to expand the MSME sector. In order to strengthen the MSME sector, our government has increased the budget by more than 650 percent in the last eight years. That is, for us MSME means – Maximum Support to Micro Small and Medium Enterprise.

Modi said that the government has increased the budget by more than 650 percent in the last eight years to strengthen the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. Modi said, "If any industry wants to grow, expand, then the government is not only supporting it, but is also making necessary changes in the policies."
He also informed that the turnover of Khadi and Village Industries has crossed one lakh crore rupees for the first time and the sale of Khadi has increased four times in the last eight years.
